The implementation of numeracy literacy was carried out through 3 (three) stages, namely the habituation stage, the development stage which is oriented towards understanding the basic concepts of mathematics and the last stage is the application stage of mathematical concepts. Obstacles to implementing numeracy literacy in grade 5 students, namely: students' low interest in reading, the mindset of teachers who only encourage but do not provide role models for reading habitually, limited facilities and infrastructure for numeracy literacy media. The teacher's obstacles are: the teacher's lack of understanding of the concept of numeracy literacy, so that during learning the teacher is not able to apply learning material in everyday problems, and constraints related to time, namely reduced learning time as a result of the policy to control the spread of Covid-19. The pretest and posttest results were tested by Paired Sample T-Test. The results showed that the validity of panjumbar learning media by media expert validators for learning mathematics in class I of Gugus Sudirman Elementary School, Tirtomoyo District after revision, in terms of the educational aspect was 4.8 (very relevant), the technical aspect was 4.7 (relevant), aesthetics (very relevant). Thus the average media validity is 4.8 (very relevant), and the average material validity is 4.75 (relevant). The effectiveness of Panjumbar media using the before-after experimental design in small group field trials is known to have an average pretest value of 73, and an average posttest value of 83.75. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis with the steps: data collection, data reduction, data display, verification and confirmation of conclusions (Conclusion Drawing and Verification). The results of the study concluded that teacher preparation carried out by teachers in implementing MEA learning was: (1) preparing lesson plans, (2) preparing learning materials according to core competencies, basic competencies and learning objectives, (3) preparing learning media according to the MEA learning model in the form of interactive powerpoints and learning materials to be studied, (4) developing learning strategies and steps, (5) compiling assessment instruments accompanied by answer sheets and assessment criteria. The internal obstacles to MEA learning are: (1) students' difficulties in completing and solving math problems, (2) students' lack of enjoyment in learning material, (3) students with low math mastery tend to be passive, (4) the process of compiling math problem solving questions requires thinking mature and long process, (5) difficulty expressing math problems to students. External constraints: (1) Limited time and space for interaction between teachers and students due to the COVID-19 pandemic so that learning is less effective, (2) patterns of learning mathematics that are abstract in nature that have not been supported by concrete learning media cause the completion of problem solving questions to be less understandable by learners.
2023-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 MENDIDIK: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Pengajaran https://ejournal.fkipunmabanten.ac.id/mendidik/article/view/50 Pengembangan Media Model Book Flanel Materi Matematika Mengurutkan Bilangan pada Siswa Kelas II SDN Giripurwo Kecamatan Wonogiri Kabupaten Wonogiri 2023-04-10T07:07:24+00:00 Esti Maryati estimaryati.wng@gmail.com Suharno estimaryati@gmail.com Benny Agus Pribadi estimaryati@gmail.com
Development of Flannel Book Model Media Mathematical Materials Sequencing Numbers for Grade II Students at SD Negeri Giripurwo Wonogiri District Wonogiri Regency, Thesis, Graduate Program in Elementary Education at the Open University. This makes a significant change in the learning system used. The VAK learning model (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) can stimulate students' self-efficacy in the subject of interaction between living things. This study aims to analyze the implementation of the VAK VAK learning model (Visual Auditorial and Kinesthetic) in developing the self-efficacy dimensions of class VII students at SMPN 1 Waringinkurung by using a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The process of collecting data is done by using interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study found that the dimensions of student self-efficacy were stated in the good category, with a total of six respondents based on field notes, interview notes and observations. In this category each student has different characteristics in each dimension of efficacy starting from magnitude, strength and generallity. In implementing the VAK learning model (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) it gives quite good results because it is able to make learning more varied and not monotonous so that it is much liked by students. Even though in this case there are still many obstacles to be overcome during learning, the teacher can overcome them little by little well. Factors supporting the implementation of the VAK learning model (Visual, Auditory and Kinesthetic) include teachers, technology.
2023-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 MENDIDIK: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Pengajaran https://ejournal.fkipunmabanten.ac.id/mendidik/article/view/57 Penıngkatan Keterampılan Berpıkır Krıtıs Dan Kolaborası Mahasıswa Melaluı Model Dıscovery Learnıng 2023-06-22T23:30:04+00:00 Firdiawan Ekaputra firdiawan.ekaputra@unja.ac.id
This study aims to determine the improvement of critical thinking skills and student collaboration through practicum learning with the discovery learning model. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this study were two students with a visual learning style category which was determined based on a learning style questionnaire. Data collection techniques in this study used a learning style questionnaire, TKPS, and interviews. Researchers also used data analysis techniques according to Milles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data researcher uses source triangulation. Based on the research data obtained, it was shown that the subject imagined the design of the drawing model into real objects such as a swimming pool with stairs and a warehouse with piles of cardboard so that the subject was able to convert two-dimensional icons into three-dimensional objects. The subject showed that in the model design, there were images of blocks that had length, width, and height and there were small cubes arranged so that the subject was able to make the correct relationship between two-dimensional icons to become three-dimensional objects. The subject also determines how many unit cubes are needed to fill the block by first calculating the volume of the block and then subtracting the total number of unit cubes in the block. Thus the visual subject's spatial reasoning in solving geometric problems is included in the category of high-level (spatial) spatial reasoning.
2023-10-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 MENDIDIK: Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan dan Pengajaran https://ejournal.fkipunmabanten.ac.id/mendidik/article/view/63 Empat Pola Pikir Matematika sebagai Teknik Penciptaan Cerita Pendek 2023-09-23T10:21:59+00:00 Pana Pramulia panapramulia@unipasby.ac.id Via Yustitia via.yustitia@unipasby.ac.id
Literary works are written based on the author's experience.
